Purpose of the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our team.

In this field-based role, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with builders' merchants, builders, and other trade customers, promoting our product range, and driving sales growth across your assigned territory.

Working closely with both existing and prospective customers, you will identify new business opportunities, maximise sales within established accounts, and increase brand awareness in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion Health & Safety by demonstrating safe working practices at all times, promoting a positive safety culture, and challenging unsafe behaviour where appropriate.

Ensure all company Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed.

  • Visit builders' merchants, builders, and other trade customers to promote and sell the company's products.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits and excellent service.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to expand product penetration within existing accounts.
  • Introduce and promote new products to customers, supporting product launches and promotional activities.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new stockists and customers within your territory.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, visit reports, and sales activity using the company CRM system.
  • Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and sales opportunities to maximise conversion.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing feedback to support business development.
  • Represent the company professionally, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and promoting the company's values.
