Our strength comes from combining deep expertise in Data & Analytics, AI, Digital, and Management Consulting with a strong understanding of business realities. Data is never the goal in itself. We use data to shape understanding, design meaningful experiences, and enable better, real-life decisions. At Keyrus, we also believe companies have a responsibility beyond performance. Through our Foundation and ESG initiatives, we actively contribute to sustainability, inclusion, and positive societal impact.

The Role

As a Data Analyst - Validation, Reconciliation & Analytics (Snowflake / SQL), you will work at the intersection of data, technology, and business, helping our clients turn complexity into clarity and insights into impact. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an international environment and contribute to projects that drive performance, innovation, and sustainable growth.

Job location: Pune or Bangalore (Hybrid — 3 days per week in the office)

Contract type: Permanent

Target start date: February 2026 / March 2026

Working hours: Full-time (40h/week), aligned with the GMT timezone (starting at 1:00 PM IST)

Compensation: INR 15,00,000 – 30,00,000 per year

Your Impact

  • Analyse and organise raw financial and transactional data to meet business needs and regulatory objectives.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems, Finbourne (LUSID), and downstream platforms.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimise SQL queries and scripts, primarily on Snowflake and relational databases.
  • Support trade lifecycle data analysis, including transactions, instruments, portfolios, and valuations.
  • Identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, or gaps and collaborate with technical teams to resolve them.
  • Work closely with business SMEs, BAs, and QA teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Support operational reporting and analytics, enabling business and operational decision-making.
  • Contribute to defining data quality standards, controls, and reconciliation processes.
  • Support investigations related to production data issues and provide insights for root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate within Agile delivery teams, contributing to sprint activities and continuous improvement.

What Makes This Role Challenging

You will work with complex, high-volume financial data in a production-critical environment. Data flows across multiple systems, requiring strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. You must balance accuracy, timeliness, and pragmatism. Close collaboration is required across technical and business teams, often under time pressure. As seniority grows, so does ownership of data quality and stakeholder trust.

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or data validation roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience using Snowflake.
  • Experience analysing large, complex datasets, ideally in financial or regulated environments.
  • Solid understanding of data reconciliation and data quality controls.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into data queries and insights.
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with financial systems, trade lifecycle, or investment data.
  • Exposure to data analytics or visualisation tools.
  • Experience working in consulting environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms.
  • Experience supporting production or operational data issues.
