The Role
As a Java Developer, you will work with Java development, microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and modern engineering practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.
- Job location: Pune or Bangalore (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office)
- Contract type: Permanent
- Target start date: May 2026
- Working hours: Full-time (40h/week), aligned with the GMT timezone, starting at 1:00 PM IST
- Compensation: INR 22,00,000 – 32,00,000 per year
Your Impact
- Develop, maintain, and optimise Java 8+ backend services using Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
- Build, deploy, and maintain microservices within Kubernetes (AKS or equivalent).
- Design and implement ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow, Spring Batch, or Apache Camel.
- Work with Snowflake to create and manage pipelines, connect and deploy databases, and perform query optimisation.
- Integrate messaging solutions using Kafka or other enterprise messaging frameworks.
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain services in Azure Cloud (or adapt from AWS/GCP).
- Write and maintain RESTful APIs for microservices communication.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup, deployment automation, and version control (Git).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile scrum environments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

What We’re Looking For
Must-haves
- At least 6+ years of hands‑on experience.
- Advanced expertise in Core Java (Java 8+), J2EE, multithreading, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Hands‑on experience building REST APIs, working with JSON, and designing scalable microservices.
- Proficiency with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Hibernate, and JSF.
- Strong experience with SQL databases (MS‑SQL, PostgreSQL), Snowflake, and NoSQL technologies (preferably Cosmos DB).
- Proven knowledge of Azure Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with enterprise messaging platforms, especially Kafka.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Experience with vendor data feeds and data management processes.
- Knowledge of ETL frameworks such as Apache Airflow, Spring Batch, or Apache Camel.
