We are looking to appoint a Team Leader to join our London Security Operations team, this is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate security professional! This role focuses on the heart of our service delivery, the team that deliver our operations in central London.
You will be responsible for managing the keywardens and patrol people on shift and will be instrumental in ensuring our employees in the field perform to the best-in-class standards that we set in the security industry. This role requires a passionate, committed individual with a strong understanding of our operational processes. You’ll be responsible for every job that happens on your shift – ensuring an expedient response service alongside facilitating on-demand services for our clients.
Position: Security Team Leader
Location: Kennington Business Park, SW9
Shift pattern: 4on & 4off, Night shifts only 1800-0600.
Salary: £16.62 per hour

Your responsibilities:
- Travelling to the areas we service, when needed, for in-person shadowing and meeting officers off base to ensure that jobs are being completed properly.
- Ensuring that response services are delivered as expediently as possible through effective allocation and motivation of the team.
- Facilitating on-demand and ad hoc services with a focus on efficiency by integrating them on patrol routes or allocating them to keywardens.
- Providing direct line management to the team on shift, ensuring they are acting in line with company policies, values and procedures.
- You will be responsible for the allocation and return of vehicles, keys and associated assets for all team members on your shift.
- Alongside the senior team members, you will also be expected to manage the upkeep of the office space and vehicles during your shift.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of any services delivered on your shift through completing quality assurance and providing immediate feedback.
- You will be expected to manage any operational or on-site challenges that occur during your shift and ensuring that these are effectively reported.
- Sourcing cover for late notice blow outs.
- Providing support to the Asset Operations Manager when needed, with day-to-day processes including but not limited to – closing Chase jobs, client complaints, and taking ownership of operational issues ensuring they are reported and resolved.
- You will be the main point of contact for all communications between the officers and the management team, and you will also be responsible for handling their concerns.
- Tracking and addressing team’s attendance and uniform by monitoring their clocking in and out on the Company’s attendance platform.
What we’re looking for:
- SIA DS/SG licence.
- Full/Clean UK driving or motorbike licence (CBT licence holders considered).
- Experience in a security management or supervisory role.
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in the mobile security industry.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
- Forward-thinking, can-do attitude, able to work well under pressure.
