At TKC, we are building a smarter, sharper and more scalable approach to security. This role sits at the heart of our London mobile operation, leading the performance, resilience and evolution of one of the business's most operationally critical frontline functions.
Responsible for supporting a sizeable mobile workforce across a fast-moving London patch, the Operations Manager ensures we continue to deliver a consistently high standard of service to a network of brilliant clients, while strengthening the structure, accountability and operational efficiency needed to support ongoing growth.
What You’ll Do
- Leads a high-performing mobile operations team, ensuring consistent delivery of service KPIs, including response times, quality standards and compliance.
- Drives operational efficiency through effective rostering, route optimisation and resource planning aligned to demand and growth.
- Embeds a strong people culture through proactive performance management, engagement and welfare support across the workforce.
- Supports the delivery of new business mobilisations and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality and profitability.
- Ensures full compliance with regulatory, contractual and internal standards, always maintaining audit-ready operations.
- Oversees daily operational performance, managing escalations, incidents and service delivery challenges.
- Manages and reviews rostering, ensuring appropriate resource allocation across a 24/7 operation.
- Leads performance management processes including reviews, disciplinaries, absence management and development plans.
- Coordinates fleet, equipment and asset management to ensure operational readiness and cost control.
- Supports recruitment, onboarding and training to maintain a capable and scalable workforce.
- Works closely with internal stakeholders to resolve client queries, complaints and service issues.
- Contributes to operational projects, including process improvements, technology adoption and mobilisation of new contracts.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence DS/SG & Full UK Driving Licence.
- Proven experience in an operations or management role within the mobile security or related industry.
- Strong people management experience, including performance, welfare and employee relations.
- Ability to manage a fast-paced 24/7 operation with competing priorities.
- Solid understanding of compliance requirements (e.g. SIA, Health & Safety, DVLA).
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Experience managing fleet operations and/or logistics.
- Exposure to service mobilisation and project delivery.
- Experience using technology to drive operational efficiency.

Location: South West London / In-office (Travel may be required across our other London bases and wider TKC locations)
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30. Some flexibility may occasionally be required to support wider operational needs, including visibility across night teams where needed.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
