TKC, in partnership with our clients, is successfully winning multi-discipline security tenders that require sophisticated technical and operational support for integrated electronic security systems. This ensures we deliver maximum value and efficiency across our services. Our primary business model is outsourcing the delivery of these services to carefully selected partners, who are often clients of other services that our group provides. This enables us to provide reciprocal business to some of the biggest clients of our keyholding and alarm response services.

We are seeking a technical coordinator to join our team and provide essential support for the electronic security systems we deploy as part of integrated security contracts. The focus of this role is to build strong, reliable foundations for the seamless management of these systems, which encompass VSS, IDS, Access Control, and physical security devices such as Smart Key Boxes, ensuring they support the integrated monitoring, maintenance, response, and control room services we provide to our clients. You will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day support functions.

As a tech-first organisation, we utilise proprietary software to enhance how systems are monitored, maintained, and utilised, making a demonstrable impact on the safety of the assets we protect.

Who This Role Is Ideal For

We are looking for an engineer-minded individual who is ready to take the next step in their career by moving into process and quality management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how systems work, identifying inefficiencies, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll use your technical mindset and analytical skills to optimise workflows, strengthen quality standards, and ensure robust, reliable processes across the organisation. If you’re passionate about problem-solving and eager to influence how things are done at a strategic level, we’d love to hear from you!

What You Get

  • Salary of £38,000 per annum on a full-time, permanent role
  • Based at our Enfield office 4 days per week, with flexibility to work from home 1 day per week as agreed (Occasional travel to our Farringdon HQ and Client/Installer locations as and/or when required)
  • Auto-enrolment into our salary sacrifice pension scheme, 24/7 confidential Employee Assistance Program, and a voluntary health cash scheme starting at £1 per week.
  • Regular TKC social events and team days
  • Opportunity to make a real difference and work alongside people who share a passion for what they do!

What You'll Do

  • Assisting the operational teams to specify, critique, and quality control supplier quotations for system components, ensuring timelines and cost targets are met.
  • Assisting in the technical configuration and documentation for the deployment of electronic security systems.
  • Working closely with installers and admin teams to ensure timelines are met and systems are documented accurately in accordance with accreditations.
  • Organise and maintain service and maintenance schedules (PPMs), ensuring all integrated systems are compliant with regulatory standards, and our internal management systems (such as Uptick) are kept up to date.
  • Act as a point of contact for day-to-day communication between clients, installer partners, and internal teams, ensuring all parties are aligned and informed regarding system operation and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with the control room to ensure quality provision of monitoring services and assist with necessary follow-ups and resolution of issues.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Provide support for business-as-usual tasks related to system administration, problem resolution, and internal/external communication.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical administrative role within the electronic security systems or related field.
  • Familiarity with many CCTV, Intruder and Access Control Systems is desirable.
  • Proficient in data entry and management, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with project coordination and working in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of administrative software and tools, such as Uptick and CASH (PPM and reactive maintenance) ticketing (e.g., Zendesk), and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Process and detail oriented with analytical approach to challenges.
  • Not easily overwhelmed - ability to find the problem in the noise and resolve it.
  • Tech enthusiast with a desire to do things better and more efficiently.
  • Adaptable, with rapidly changing responsibilities in a newly created department, delivering a new product.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion matters to us. We are keen to hear from candidates from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences and are excited about learning from you, as much as we know you can learn from us.
