Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager (Group Marketing), this role owns the execution of GovernorHub marketing activity. Working closely with customer, product and content teams, you’ll ensure GovernorHub is loved, understood and actively used by its intended audiences. This is a senior delivery role requiring strong execution, organisation skills and cross‑functional collaboration.
The role
The Senior Marketing Executive is responsible for delivering the GovernorHub marketing strategy, with a focus on driving adoption, usage and trust lead generation.
The Senior Marketing Executive will take ownership of:
- GovernorHub usage and engagement indicators
- Adoption of GovernorHub among target audiences including clerks, trust governance professionals and board members
- Quality and volume of trust governance professional leads, generated through outbound activity and relationship nurture
- Effectiveness and performance of GovernorHub marketing channels and campaigns
- Quality and consistency of communications supporting customer teams
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the GovernorHub marketing strategy in line with priorities set by the Senior Marketing Manager (Group Marketing)
- Own the execution of campaigns, communications and activity that drive GovernorHub adoption and usage
- Ensure GovernorHub marketing activity is timely, well‑coordinated and clearly aligned to commercial goals
- Own GovernorHub marketing channels, including email and in‑product engagement
- Plan and deliver GH member communications that support onboarding, engagement and retention
- Act as a key contributor to in‑product engagement activity, ensuring communications add value to the user experience
- Plan and execute trust and TGP lead generation campaigns, including follow‑up and nurture activity
- Support sales, success and reseller teams with relevant communications, assets and insights
- Contribute to the planning of GovernorHub‑specific events and webinars, owning strategy and outcomes while supported in delivery
- Track performance of GovernorHub marketing activity and report on results
- Capture insights from campaigns, events and engagement activity and feed learning back into the wider team and business where relevant
- Use data and feedback to continuously improve effectiveness and impact
- Work closely with customer teams to align activity with pipeline and retention priorities
- Collaborate with GH product and content colleagues to ensure marketing reflects user needs and product value
- Maintain clear plans, documentation and reporting to support strong cross‑team collaboration
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Executive who has the following experience:
Essential
- 2+ years experience delivering B2B marketing activity with clear ownership and accountability
- Strong understanding of engagement, adoption and lead generation marketing
- Proven ability to deliver high‑quality campaigns and communications across multiple channels
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Confidence using data to track performance and inform improvements
Nice to have
- Experience working with multi‑academy trusts, governance audiences or resellers
- Experience with Intercom or a similar platform
- Familiarity with Hubspot or similar marketing automation system
- Experience working closely with sales and customer success teams
