Salary and Benefits
On average our starting salary for a support worker is £25,812 per year (based on a 35-hour week and including one sleep in per week at £60 per night). An additional 6 hours per week (41 hours total) increases potential to £29,844 per year (including holiday allowance). Our support workers can earn more by taking overtime; many experienced workers earn more than £30,000 per year.

Meet the Team
Our Butlers Park Way site provides supported living accommodation to 6 tenants, each with their own self-contained flat. Tenants can spend time in their flats or socialize in the shared communal room. They participate in activities accessed by public transport or by car (driven by staff). Activities include walks, coffee outings, picnics, day trips to London, and social gatherings.
Tasks / Responsibilities
- Drive a mobility car or service vehicle. Manual License required (essential).
- Work with individuals who may display stressed behaviours, mental health issues, hurting self or others, running away, throwing things, swearing, shouting and damaging property.
- Support individuals within the community in activities such as bike rides, long walks & shopping.
- Administering medication.
- Assisting individuals with personal care and hygiene.
- Be confident and experienced in lone working.
- Household management tasks including cooking, cleaning, etc.
- Uphold privacy, confidentiality and dignity.
- Handle money to shop, go to the bank, etc.
- Work with and support individuals with additional needs (e.g., epilepsy, pica, learning disabilities).
- Form good working relationships with staff across services and ensure written records are correctly maintained.
- Sleep-in shifts and associated allowances as appropriate in CQC Registered and Supported Living services.
