We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused Assistant Estimator to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to start or grow your career in estimating within the renewable energy sector. You’ll support our sales function by preparing accurate and timely estimates for ground source heat pump systems, helping customers make informed decisions and contributing to projects that make a real difference to the environment.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with preparing cost estimates and feasibility reports for projects.
- Gather and interpret data from plans and reports.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of estimating tools and processes.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (training provided for more advanced skills).
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
