We are looking for a conscientious and self-motivated Premises Manager to join our supportive and collaborative team. We strive to provide an aesthetically stimulating, nurturing environment for all our pupils and staff to learn, work, and play safely. The Premises Manager will play a crucial role in keeping our school in perfect condition so our children can access the first-class education we can offer in an environment that is clean, safe, and secure.

You will have responsibility for security, monitoring, cleaning, building, and maintenance. As a Premises Manager, you will be conscientious, dynamic, and work well as part of the wider trust Estates team. To be considered for this role, you will need experience and knowledge of regulatory bodies and compliance. You will be responsible for all planned maintenance, health and safety compliance, including carrying out and reviewing premises-related risk assessments and action plans. A good selection of DIY / Handyperson skills is essential.

Salary: Bexley 08 Est Actual £24,573 (FTE £30,717). Hours: 28.8 hours per week (4 days a week), working pattern to be negotiated. Closing date: 04/09/2026 at noon.

About East Wickham Primary Academy: East Wickham is a large, successful Primary Academy, with a warm and caring atmosphere. We are situated on a beautiful green site and have access to a large field that is shared between both buildings. At the rear of the school, we overlook East Wickham open space, which gives our setting a very semi-rural feel.
