Exam Invigilators
Casual Hours Term Time only (39 weeks per year) £12.71 per hour
Are you looking for an interesting, flexible role within education supporting your local school? Bridgemary School are looking to appoint new Exam Invigilators to join our amazing community. As an Exam Invigilator you will work closely with the Exams Officer and the existing highly experienced team in the running of all mock and external examinations at our school, including GCSEs. These run periodically throughout the year and can range from supervising a single pupil in their own room to covering the hall of up to 200 students as a team.
You will need to be calm and confident managing groups of students and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Full training will be provided to ensure exams are run in accordance with formal guidelines and working hours will be negotiated for each exam period. Duties will include: •Preparing the exam room before students arrive
•Distributing and collecting exam papers and materials
•Supervising students during exams to ensure a fair and secure environment
•Recording attendance and dealing with any issues that arise in line with exam regulations.
This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, part-time work during the school year – particularly during the main exam season (May – June, plus November and March).
