A leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor based in a prestigious City of London location are looking for a Commercial Manager to join them. An excellent name within the industry operating on a national scale on high-profile and large-scale projects. They generally work within the Commercial sector but also undertake projects within data centres, energy, education and healthcare amongst others.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor or currently a Commercial Manager within an M&E Contractor or consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business well-known for their engineering excellence and also the internal opportunities for progression that comes to successful individuals.
Roles and Responsibilities:- To carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales.
- Prepare and monitor project cashflow forecasts.
- Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
- Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
- Prepare, submit and negotiate project final accounts.
- Commercial vetting of sub-contractor tenders and contracts.
- Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
- Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at project level.
- Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets.
- Current experience in Commercial Management/Senior Quantity Surveyor within M&E Contracting/Consulting.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Excellent M&E Technical knowledge.
- Experience of managing Quantity Surveyors.
