An exciting opportunity within our clients commercial department has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. Our client is based in North West London and has won several projects based in Hertfordshire, Essex, London, Surrey and want to give an aspiring Assistant Quantity Surveyor an exciting new opportunity. They are looking to strengthen their team by taking on an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to become an asset to their company in order to assist in its planned growth.
The company are a leading groundworks contractor in the south east working on projects ranging from £50k-£5m in residential groundwork projects. They are seeking a driven individual to foresee all duties such as:
- Preparing tender documents, including bills from drawings
- Preparing sub-contract enquiries and order documentation
- Preparing cost budgets and prices for contract variations
- Providing support in cost management and financial reports
- Working on own projects as appropriate
