We’re on the hunt for an authentic Waiter/Waitress to lead the way at our The Idler restaurant, part of our London Victoria addition! We’re proud to be recognised as one of the UK's Best Workplaces 2026 by Great Place To Work, something that reflects the people, energy and culture we build together every day.

The concept Nestled in the heart of London, our location is more than just a restaurant or bar; it’s a mindset that embraces balance between work and life. Here, time slows down, but your ambitions are still welcome, because we believe life is too short to be busy without purpose. Enjoy small plates crafted to energize you without disrupting your flow, and let our drinks guide you from midday inspiration into a leisurely evening.

The Idler will be a place for breakfast and all day dining. The kitchen and bar are working together very closely since there is an open kitchen bar that runs through the restaurant. The restaurant will be serving an all day food menu that consists of creative and high quality dishes to share (or not). The all day dining menu plays tribute with a playful spin on British Classics where dishes are uncomplicated, true to their ingredients and have a real punch on British produce. Next to a restaurant and bar, the location offers three 8 pax meeting rooms and a Deli.

The Job: Our Waiter/Waitress ensures guests have an excellent experience by providing stellar customer service. You are responsible to greet our guests, take meal orders and ensure smooth communication between the dining area and kitchen.

What we’re looking for: For our London team, we are looking for passionate, enthusiastic team players, who love to entertain guests! Our ideal candidate will have a confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request. Experience is not necessary, just the will to learn and a friendly smile. We are able to teach you all the ins and outs of hospitality. Be prepared for a good time!

What’s in it for you? In addition to a competitive salary, you are entitled to Tronc (Service Charge), 30 days holiday including bank holidays, Me-Time/Community Day: Enjoy a dedicated day for self-care and another day of community engagement, Medical Cash Plan Scheme to support your everyday healthcare needs, free access to our hotel gym and sauna, pension scheme from day one, group life insurance, personal growth through personalized training opportunities, Perkbox benefits platform, Recommend a Friend Scheme: Receive £500 for every successful hire you refer, hotel & restaurant perks, and team drinks, events & outings to (never) forget!
