We’re on the hunt for an authentic Waiter/ Waitress to lead the way at our The Idler restaurant, part of our London Victoria addition!

We’re proud to be recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces 2026 by Great Place To Work, something that reflects the people, energy and culture we build together every day.

The Idler

Nestled in the heart of London, our location is more than just a restaurant or bar; it’s a mindset that embraces balance between work and life. Here, time slows down, but your ambitions are still welcome, because we believe life is too short to be busy without purpose.

Enjoy small plates crafted to energize you without disrupting your flow, and let our drinks guide you from midday inspiration into a leisurely evening. So come, and embrace the art of doing nothing.

Our restaurant is a place for breakfast and all day dining. The kitchen and bar are working together very closely since there is an open kitchen bar that runs through the restaurant. The restaurant is serving an all day food menu that consists of creative and high quality dishes to share (or not). The all day dining menu plays tribute with a playful spin on British Classics where dishes are uncomplicated, true to their ingredients and have a real punch on British produce.

Next to a restaurant and bar, the location offers three 8 pax meeting rooms and a Deli.

We are looking for a friendly, energetic and service-driven Waiter / Waitress to join our team at The Idler. In this role, you’ll create memorable experiences for our guests by delivering warm and attentive service across the restaurant, bar and meeting rooms. You’ll guide guests through our food and drinks menu, work closely with the kitchen and help maintain a smooth and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day. This is a hands-on role in a lively all-day dining environment, where personality, teamwork and a genuine passion for hospitality will make all the difference.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence when interacting with guests and the team.
  • Brings positive energy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment while delivering smooth and attentive service.
  • Naturally warm and guest-focused, creating memorable experiences with every interaction.
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but personality and attitude matter most!

  • 30 days holiday including bank holidays.
