We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will work alongside the Head Chef, Sous Chef and the rest of the kitchen team to process daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, ensuring food is of consistently high quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and mise en place for your section. It is important that you are able to maintain high standards of cleaning and personal hygiene. We are an expanding business specialising in a fully plant based offering, we pride ourselves on creating a health conscious seasonal menu that is constantly evolving.

You will have experience of working in a busy establishment where consistency and quality were key requirements. You will be diligent, committed and with a desire to continually learn and improve. A team player with the ability to communicate, motivate, and inspire others with good interpersonal skills. Your ability to bring creativity and flair into the everyday will be valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow guidance from the Head Chef/ Sous Chef on recipe improvement and presentation
  • Follow health and safety, food safety and allergen procedures at all times
  • Have experience in managing and maintaining a section within the kitchen, teach and develop less experienced members of the kitchen team
  • Ensure food is cooked, chilled and stored properly
  • Oversee and organise kitchen stock, rotating accordingly
  • Manage time effectively to ensure sections are ready for service
  • Ensure all food preparation and presentation meets restaurant standards
