We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations within a dynamic food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, rotation, and distribution of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods. The ideal candidate will ensure strict compliance with food safety standards, maintain inventory accuracy, and drive operational efficiency while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate all warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (FDA, USDA) and internal GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) protocols.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); perform regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Lead, train, and support warehouse staff in safety, food handling, and operational best practices.
  • Manage proper storage and rotation of inventory (FIFO/FEFO) to preserve product integrity and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality Assurance, and Procurement to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Uphold sanitation and pest control standards across all storage areas.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe, hazard-free workplace.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including scheduling with carriers and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience, ideally in food manufacturing or perishable goods.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, SQF, etc.).
  • Proficiency with ERP and WMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
