An opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Specialist Resource Provision team. The successful candidate will support individuals and groups of students with SEND. This is a wonderful role to work within an experienced and busy SEND department. The role is suitable for individuals with experience. We are looking for candidates with good communication skills and experience in managing challenging behaviour. The successful candidate should enjoy working with young people and would like to make a difference. Experience in supporting students with visual impairments would be beneficial in this role, though not essential. Employment type: Permanent, Term Time, plus inset days. Salary: Judd Pay Scale C or D - dependent on experience. £26,956 - £29,020 (£23,601 - £25,408 pro rata per annum for 37 hrs per week - Term Time - 39 working weeks, including inset days.) Position start date: While this role is open to a start date of 01/10/2026, we anticipate a 01/11/2026 start date for candidates who need to fulfill a standard notice period.
