The Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, loving, Christ-centered classroom environment where preschool children can grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. This role includes planning and implementing interactive, hands‑on, and engaging lessons that foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning while introducing children to God’s love. The Lead Teacher serves as the primary classroom leader, modeling Christian values, building positive relationships with families, and guiding children through meaningful daily experiences.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching preschool or early childhood students preferred
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to create creative, interactive, and engaging lesson experiences
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and interacting on the floor with children
