Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) is seeking a highly motivated and resident focused individual to join our excellent Neighbourhoods teams to support with the recovery of Former Tenant Arrears.
About the Role
Join us in a role where every conversation counts. You will be responsible for recovering rent, service charges, and repair costs from former tenants while working with them to build sustainable repayment plans and strengthen their budgeting skills. In this vital position, you will support our Income Collection Team Managers in auditing former tenant debt and reducing arrears at the point of tenancy termination. By working hand-in-hand with Rent Officers and our repairs and maintenance teams, you will help create a clear, joined-up strategy for tackling bad debt.
You will:
- Analyse resident feedback to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Prepare clear, insightful reports for managers and leadership teams.
- Work with service teams to turn insight into meaningful service improvements.
- Coordinate improvement actions arising from complaints and survey results.
- Lead CSAT and insight meetings to monitor performance and drive change.
- Support our You Said, We Did approach to demonstrating impact.
- Champion a resident-first culture across the organisation.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident analysing both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Skilled at translating insight into practical actions.
- An excellent communicator able to work collaboratively with teams.
- Comfortable facilitating discussions and supporting service reviews.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
