About the role

We are seeking a People Shared Services Transition Coordinator to join Group Shared Services on a fixed-term basis to support the delivery of a significant care services transition. This role is critical to coordinating and delivering People Shared Services activity across HR, Payroll and Benefits, ensuring employee data, documentation and processes are prepared, validated, and delivered accurately, securely and in line with agreed project timelines. Working closely with the Care Project Team and JRHT colleagues, you will act as the central coordination point within People Shared Services for TUPE-related activity. You will play a key role in managing and validating employee and payroll data, coordinating the preparation and delivery of Employee Liability Information (ELI), supporting employee communications, and ensuring that all information shared is accurate, compliant, and timely. The role combines coordination, data validation and operational delivery within HR and payroll systems, proactively aligning activity to key transition milestones and anticipating requirements ahead of each phase.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and drive People Shared Services activity to support the care services transition, ensuring key tasks, deadlines and dependencies are actively managed.
  • Act as the central coordination point within People Shared Services, gathering, preparing and providing employee information required by the Care Project Team and JRHT colleagues.
  • Work closely with HR Support, Payroll and Benefits teams to extract, review and validate employee data from HR and payroll systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
  • Coordinate the preparation, validation and delivery of TUPE-related employee data, including Employee Liability Information (ELI).
  • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of employee communications and correspondence relating to the transition, ensuring documentation is issued accurately and to agreed timelines.
  • Manage and respond to requests for employee or payroll information, ensuring information is provided promptly and securely.
  • Organise and support People Shared Services project meetings, including preparing documentation, maintaining action logs and tracking progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date trackers and documentation relating to employee data, communications and information shared as part of the transition.
  • Ensure all employee information is handled securely and in line with organisational policies, GDPR requirements and relevant legislation.
  • Identify risks, dependencies and issues within People Shared Services activity, resolving where possible or escalating appropriately.

About you

You will have a strong working knowledge of TUPE, HR and payroll processes, with experience handling and validating employee data using HR and payroll systems. You will understand the importance of data accuracy, confidentiality and GDPR compliance, and be confident working with sensitive information in a structured and methodical way. You will have experience supporting employee transitions or similar time-limited projects, working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential. You will be proactive, confident and able to quickly understand systems, processes and requirements, contributing effectively from an early stage in a fast-paced environment. You will communicate clearly, work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, and be comfortable identifying issues, resolving problems and driving delivery.

This role supports that purpose by ensuring People Shared Services activity is well-coordinated, accurate and compliant during a significant organisational transition.
