We have an exciting opportunity for a Relief Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will be an enthusiastic practitioner who has a passion to nurture happy children and a strong drive to promote excellent childcare.
About Joint Colleges Nursery
Joint Colleges Nursery is a small independent nursery situated in a quiet, tree‑lined residential area in the heart of Cambridge, within close walking distance from Cambridge City Centre and the train station. Our staff describe JCN as a wonderful and rewarding place of work. Registered for 57 children aged 0‑5, most attending full time, we create a stable environment where children and staff build quality relationships.
Working Hours
Hours of work will be between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm, 7.5 hours a day, Monday to Friday. Hours are flexible to suit circumstances; availability year‑round is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality childcare in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Support children’s development, maintain a safe and nurturing environment, collaborate with team members, and contribute to daily routines.
Qualifications
Training and support will be provided. Successful candidates must provide right‑to‑work documentation, undergo an enhanced DBS check, and provide two satisfactory references before commencing employment.
