We are currently recruiting for an experienced, hands-on Marine Engineer to join a specialist marine engineering business based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Marine Engineer looking to take the next step in their career, moving into a shore-based role that combines hands-on technical engineering expertise with project and fleet coordination responsibilities.

The role involves overseeing engineering work and maintenance projects across a variety of commercial and passenger vessels, working closely with shipyards, contractors, clients and key stakeholders to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is not a desk-based position; you will remain closely and practically involved with the technical delivery of the work throughout, including managing project timelines, coordinating refits, producing detailed maintenance and progress reports, overseeing planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and supervising junior Engineers.

A strong hands-on engineering background is essential. We are looking for candidates based in and around London who can commute comfortably to central London. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Marine Engineer looking to move into a leadership-focused role while continuing to use their technical expertise, with strong long-term career progression on offer.
