Love cars and have a knack for online platforms? We’re looking for an Auto Trader Marketing Executive to manage our digital showroom and make sure every vehicle we list stands out from the crowd.
In this pivotal role, you will be the guardian of our digital showroom. You’ll ensure our stock is displayed professionally, accurately, and competitively, directly impacting consumer engagement and helping us sell more cars.
Key Responsibilities- Your primary focus will be managing the day-to-day performance of our Auto Trader advertising portal across our dealerships.
- Oversee the prompt upload and removal of vehicles to maintain an accurate live stock position while eliminating duplicate listings.
- Manage stock contracts effectively, ensuring we stay within advertising allowances and maximise our package ROI.
- Create high-quality adverts with precise descriptions, pricing, and technical specifications that meet brand standards.
- Ensure every vehicle is supported by consistent, high-quality, and engaging photography.
- Regularly review metrics—including VDP views, enquiry rates, and conversion—to improve advert ranking and placement.
- Work closely with Sales Managers, Marketing teams, and Preparation Centres to ensure all stock is 'retail-ready' and presented perfectly.
- To succeed in this role, you should be a data-driven individual who understands the 'science' behind a great car advert.
- Strong reporting skills and proficiency in Excel to monitor spend and performance.
- A solid understanding of online marketing principles and consumer behaviour.
- Excellent verbal and written skills to craft compelling copy and collaborate with internal teams.
- A genuine interest in cars and an up-to-date understanding of the latest automotive trends.
