We have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing & Racing Executive to join our team at Huntingdon Racecourse to achieve budgeted volume and revenue through the development and execution of local racecourse and fixture marketing plans, the ownership of the ticketing platform and the customer experience for racegoers and industry stakeholders.

The Marketing & Racing Executive will:
- Work with the Racecourse General Manager and Senior Marketing Executive – Small Courses to drive volume and revenue and own the development of local racecourse and fixture specific marketing strategies and plans covering all commercial lines, admissions, and Conference & Events.
- Own the development of fixture specific marketing spend plans, adopting small course themes and innovation to optimise ROI.
- Ensure that the local website and app platforms stay fresh by updating content and customer journeys.
- Drive and develop local E Comms in partnership with the small course and national CRM.
- Produce and post multi-platform social media content for use on local channels.
- Execute local communications in line with the wider small course teams.
- Manage customer enquiries and oversee the annual badge holder, owners and trainers experience including packages and collateral.
- Partner with the Groups Sales Manager to proactively source new groups locally.
- Partner with the Operations Manager to book and coordinate entertainment/theming with suppliers from set up to breakdown.
- Manage the online ticketing system in partnership with the national contact centre to ensure all experiences are live and updated.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of both racing and non-racing events.
- Work all racedays throughout the year with responsibilities including customer liaison, marketing initiatives and social media content.
About you:
- Understand all key areas of the marketing mix including proposition, development, media planning and digital marketing execution.
- Previous experience in a marketing or customer facing role.
- Effective communicator capable of building relationships and influencing a wide range of stakeholders.
- Up to date with current marketing techniques and industry news and an interest in Social Media content.
