Hours: 22.5 hours per week (Min of 4 office days)

As Marketing Executive at Market Rasen Racecourse you'll play a key role in driving attendance, revenue and customer engagement across our racedays and events programme. Working closely with the Racecourse General Manager and wider marketing team, you'll deliver creative campaigns, engaging content and memorable customer experiences that contribute to the success of the racecourse.

The Marketing Executive will:

  • Develop and deliver racecourse and fixture-specific marketing plans that drive attendance, revenue and customer engagement.
  • Manage local marketing budgets, identifying opportunities to maximise ROI through innovative campaigns and themed events.
  • Support the promotion of hospitality, conferences and events in partnership with the Small Courses marketing team.
  • Keep racecourse website and app content fresh, relevant and optimised to enhance the customer journey.
  • Build and grow local CRM activity, working with specialist teams to deliver targeted email campaigns and audience segmentation.
  • Create and publish engaging content across social media channels to achieve local and business-wide marketing objectives.
  • Deliver local PR and communications activity, collaborating with internal stakeholders to raise awareness and promote key events.
  • Work all racedays and major events, supporting on-course marketing activity, content capture, entertainment delivery and the overall customer experience.

About you:

  • Experience in marketing or a customer-facing role, with a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • A strong understanding of the marketing mix, including campaign planning, proposition development, and digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships across a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
  • A keen interest in digital marketing, social media and creating engaging content.
  • A proactive approach to learning, keeping up to date with marketing trends, tools and industry best practice.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • High levels of self-motivation, energy and drive, with a desire to make a real impact and continuously improve results.
