We have a fantastic opportunity for a Painter to join our Epsom Downs Racecourse team to produce high quality painting and decorating across the Racecourse.

The Painter will
- Carry out general routine decorating, and maintenance tasks as required, preparing the surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections.
- Applying paint, varnish and other finishes as required
- Operate mechanical hoist, to work from ladders, steps, and towers to achieve decorating tasks.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Comply with all COSHH regulations relating to paint, white spirit and all dyes and wood preservatives.
- Assist all relevant racecourse pre-event preparations at Epsom Downs Racecourse in conjunction with the Facilities Team.
- Be proactive and take ownership of the appearance of site, highlighting areas that require touching up or redecoration.
About you
- Proven experience in painting and decorating with a wide knowledge of various painting techniques.
- Proactive approach to workplace taking initiative to delivering high quality work.
- Thrives in being part of a team collaborating effectively to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent communicator with outstanding attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work.
- A valid driving licence.
- Experience working at a large events site would be an advantage.
