Located on Newmarket High Street, just 20 minutes from Cambridge, the club houses a remarkable collection of British racing memorabilia. Beyond serving its members, the clubhouse offers private hire for weddings, corporate events, accommodation, and Open House experiences such as fine dining, afternoon tea, tours, and golf weekends. Role Description
This is a casual weekend on-site role for a Housekeeper based on Newmarket High Street. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across guest rooms and public areas. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning, organising, managing laundry, and ensuring exceptional presentation throughout the premises. The role also involves interacting with guests, addressing their needs, and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. Training will be provided to uphold The Jockey Club Rooms’ commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is essential, although training will be provided.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
