Salary: £35,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

From the first design to the final customer sign-off, this Engineering Project Manager role offers the chance to see engineering ideas become working systems.
Our client is looking for a technically minded Engineering Project Manager to join its close-knit engineering team in Sittingbourne. Combining mechanical design with project delivery, the role offers hands-on involvement at every stage, with direct customer contact and SolidWorks training where required.
The Role
- Take engineering projects from concept through to qualification testing and customer acceptance.
- Design, analyse, test and document complete container systems.
- Apply stress analysis and mechanics of materials to solve practical design challenges.
- Develop designs using CAD software.
- Work closely with customers and colleagues to keep projects moving.
Skills and Experience
- Higher education qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Sound knowledge of stress analysis and mechanics of materials.
- CAD software experience; SolidWorks training is available.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Clear communication and a practical approach to problem-solving.
