The Job People are currently looking for a Van Lock and Vehicle Accessories Installation Technician for our client based in Cannock. The chosen candidate must have previous experience working to targets within a manufacturing/production industry.
Details of the position:
- Monday to Friday Day shifts - 8am till 4.30pm
- Paying between £14.00 - £17.00 per hour
- Overtime available
- Long term opportunity
As a Van Lock and Vehicle Accessories Installation Technician, you will be required but not limited to the below:
- Installing Hooklocks, Deadlocks, Slamlocks, Heavy Duty Locks, Latch Shields
- Secure handle installations tailored to vehicle types
- Fit-for-purpose transport for pipework, trims, and conduits
- Ladder Racks & Roof Bars - Fuel-efficient, aerodynamic systems
- Side & Rear Access Steps - Model-specific fittings for easier van access
As a Van Lock and Vehicle Accessories Installation Technician, you will have the below experience:
- 2+ years' experience in van lock fitting, vehicle electrics, or accessory installs
- Strong practical skills, and ability to read spec sheets and install to manufacturer standards
- Comfortable working on-site at client locations and off-site when required
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Self-sufficient, reliable, and customer-focused
