To support the efficient operation of the stores department, the role involves managing stock, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely supply of materials to meet operational requirements. The role will involve driving company vehicles and a FLT licence would be advantageous - but not essential.

Working hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8am - 4.30pm
  • Friday: 8am - 2pm

Pay:

Β£12.21 to Β£12.61 per hour to start - Weekly Pay

Based in Cannock

Duties of a Stores Operative:

  • Record, inspect and receive deliveries
  • Picking and packing
  • Stock checks
  • Goods in and out
  • Replenishment and put away of stock
  • Building stock
  • Use a computer to process, store and log items

Experience of a Stores Operative:

  • Driving licence is required for the role due to moving company vehicles
  • Previous experience picking and packing within a warehouse
  • Computer literate
  • FLT experience / licence would be an advantage - but not essential
  • Good organisational and communication skills
