The predicted salary is between 60000 - 84000 £ per year.
3 to 6 Month Contract with possibility to extend. £300 to £350 per day. Aerospace / Heavy Plant / Motorsport industry experience preferred. Based in Staffordshire.
Duties of a Process Engineer:
- Map and document processes, producing clear SOPs, Work Instructions, and process flow documentation.
- Review current production methods and identify improvements to safety, quality, and throughput.
- Support trials, validation activities, and equipment capability studies.
- Introduce and apply Lean/Six Sigma tools to reduce variation and improve process control.
- Work with Operations, Quality, and HSE to ensure safe, compliant, repeatable processes.
- Provide guidance to operators and ensure new processes are properly adopted.
Skills & Experience of a Process Engineer:
- Process engineering experience in general manufacturing, powder metallurgy, pressing, sintering, ceramics, or similar.
- Strong documentation capability (SOPs, CP/FMEA, risk assessments).
- Understanding of process capability, variation control, and quality systems (ISO9001/AS9100).
- Hands-on approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
