The Job People are recruiting for Production Assembly Operatives based in Leamington Spa to start ASAP within the Manufacturing and Production industry. We are ideally looking for experienced candidates, from an automotive background used to working on busy production assembly lines.
Previous Experience in the below is required:
- Laser operatives
- CNC
- Turret
- Paint shop
- Steel polishing
- Welders (MIG / TIG)
A keen eye for detail is required, must be able to keep up with running line speeds and have assembly experience. Some dexterity assembly is required. The role is full time - long term and can lead to a permanent contract after a qualifying period. Candidates must be flexible and available to work overtime, weekends or even some shift work to suit the business needs.
Shift work is paid with shift allowance each week. If rotation you will receive £15.63 per hour. Nights £17.20 per hour. Plus overtime pay. AM Shift starts at £14.03 per hour for a Production Assembly Operative.
Details of a Production Assembly Operative:
- Monday to Thursday 07.00 - 16.00
- Friday 07.00 - 12.00
- 39 hours per week basic
Must be flexible to support with overtime and additional shifts to suit business needs. Pay from £14.03 per hour. Overtime paid after completion of 39 hours. Overtime pay up to £28.06 per hour. Ongoing work. Factory shutdowns throughout the year. Excellent training programme. Long term opportunity and pushed progression throughout.
As a Production Assembly Operative in Leamington Spa, you would be required but not limited to:
- Operate Brake Press machines
- Have experience / knowledge in Electronic Press Brake machinery
- Loading and unloading parts
- Electrical assembly
- Paint shop operator
- Metal polishing
- Welding
- Brake press operator
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Previous Production / Press experience desired
- Be able to work unsupervised where required
- Adhering to health and safety rules on site
- Progressing to learn several machines within the factory
