Overview

Machine Operator – Immediate starts. Days working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 6am to 6pm, 4 days on followed by 4 days off.

Pay: pay for days starts at £12.26 per hour and increases to £13.26 per hour after 12 weeks.

Location: Brownhills area.

Role: Basic machine operating; training will be provided. Working with CNC machines.

Note: This role will involve working weekends as part of the shift pattern.

Contract: Regular, long-term work.

Duties of a Machine Operator

  • Operating CNC machines; may operate two machines at the same time
  • Loading automotive parts
  • Filing / grinding
  • Using power tools
  • Quality inspection
  • Working to targets

Experience required for a Machine Operator

  • Previous factory work / machine operating work
  • Used hand tools / power tools – an advantage
  • Previous manufacturing and production experience – an advantage, but training is provided
