Overview
Machine Operator – Immediate starts. Days working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 6am to 6pm, 4 days on followed by 4 days off.
Pay: pay for days starts at £12.26 per hour and increases to £13.26 per hour after 12 weeks.
Location: Brownhills area.
Role: Basic machine operating; training will be provided. Working with CNC machines.
Note: This role will involve working weekends as part of the shift pattern.
Contract: Regular, long-term work.
Duties of a Machine Operator
- Operating CNC machines; may operate two machines at the same time
- Loading automotive parts
- Filing / grinding
- Using power tools
- Quality inspection
- Working to targets
Experience required for a Machine Operator
- Previous factory work / machine operating work
- Used hand tools / power tools – an advantage
- Previous manufacturing and production experience – an advantage, but training is provided
