We have vacancies for Mechanical or Electrical Fitters. Will be working as part of the maintenance team, will consider apprentice trained candidates for the role.
Based in Dronfield.
Working Hours are: Rotating Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (5 days on), then Wednesday and Thursday the following week (2 days) - average of 40.2 hours - Overtime available as well if wanted.

Duties of a Fitter Mechanical or Electrical:- Working in a foundry
- Heavy plant machinery, repair, diagnose, prevent and improve
- Troubleshoot issues work on root cause and breakdowns
- Working on Control systems - mainly Siemens S5, S6 and S7
- Can be doing basic maintenance within the factory and also supporting duties within the office
- Part of a maintenance team - looking for a proactive individual
- Completing related paperwork onto tablets
- Qualified - Heavy Plant Industry
- Apprentice trained
- Understand schematic drawings - hydraulic and pneumatic
- Previous Foundry, Quarry working experience an advantage
- Physical work
- Using hand tools and power tools
- Must be able to understand PLCs and inverters
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Factory or Foundry / Quarry experience an advantage to the role
