Overview
CNC Operator — Stone, Staffordshire
£17.50 to £23.28 per hour
Based in Stone, Staffordshire. Working in a high end manufacturing and production environment. Previous experience machining complex components from a variety of metals is required.
Looking for an experienced candidate who can demonstrate a high level of competence on a CNC machine.
Shifts
- Days: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and Friday 7am to 1pm
- Nights: Monday to Thursday night 6pm to 6am
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery to produce designated components
- Use Fanuc Control / Mazak controls
- Machining complex components from a variety of metals
- Work within automotive, aviation and marine industries
- Read and interpret Engineering drawings
- Utilise in-process gauging and inspection equipment
- Maintain high levels of quality and precision on components
- Provide clear communication, both written and verbal
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience operating 5 axis, 4 axis or 3 axis CNC milling machines
- Proficient with Fanuc control; knowledge of Mazak is desirable
- Background in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and control systems
- Ability to work with a variety of in-process inspection tools
