Health and Safety Manager
Location: Erdington, England
Salary: GBP40,000 per annum

Ideally looking for Manufacturing / Production background
Duties of a Health and Safety Manager:
- Following processes and procedures for all staff
- Actively going on the shop floor
- Implementing systems
- Ensuring that all the staff are following protocol, training and running tool box talks
- Reviewing the safety of the site and ensuring any issues are actioned and resolved
- Maintaining a safe work place
- Ensuring that the site meets all legal expectations
- Preparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safety
- Investigating accidents and recommending solutions to the issues
Experience required for a Health and Safety Manager:
- Hands on approach / Proven Experience of a Health and Safety Manager's role
- Make regular inspections onto the shop floor
- A background in quality and environmental experience would be an advantage
- Staff training and development
- A can do approach to work - look for a solution to the problem and see it through
- Good interpersonal skills / communication skills at all levels
- Dealing with the facilities on site - to ensure they are serviced and scheduled
- Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies
