Hiring for an Infrastructure Architect to be based in Basingstoke. This is a Permanent role, offering a salary of £70K - £80K + Bonus + £6K Car Allowance. This role requires DV Clearance, so please apply if you hold active Clearance or would be eligible.
Responsibilities:
- Own the design and delivery of technical infrastructure proposals.
- Ensure architectural solutions are cohesive, compliant, and adaptable to change.
- Support delivery across the lifecycle – from requirements to service transition.
- Collaborate within a skilled Agile team, embracing cross-training and shared challenges.
- Communicate technical concepts and infrastructure visions to senior customer executives.
- Design and implement secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Manage third-party contributions and change requests without compromising the architectural integrity.
- Contribute to the successful deployment of solutions and support service transition phases.
Skills and Experience required:
- Strong client-facing experience, with the ability to influence and advise at senior executive levels.
- Proven track record in the design and implementation of secure, large-scale, resilient infrastructures.
- Experience defining infrastructure requirements directly with customers.
- Successful delivery of production-grade solutions, with smooth transitions into operational support.
- Solid understanding of security standards and how to architect compliant infrastructure.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies in a technical environment.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows enterprise administration, including:
- GPO, Registry, Filesystem configuration
- PowerShell cmdlets and WMI scripting
- Patch management and Windows Installer deployments
