Account Executive (Must be UK Based and have the right to work in the UK)

Office based 3 days per week

Reports to: Account Manager

Based at: Hampshire OR Manchester, Media City

Job Description: Jargon Group is an award-winning, boutique public relations agency. We manage global campaigns for B2B technology and corporate brands. We’re ambitious, highly motivated and deliver campaigns that enable our clients to win their category through high-quality media relations, content creation and consultancy. We’re going from strength to strength and need an enthusiastic, committed Account Executive or Junior Account Executive to support the team by helping to draft content, speak to the press, creating reports, run social channels for our clients and much more. No day is ever the same.

Ideally you will have some media, marketing or PR background with a good work ethic, solid spelling and grammar, a fun personality and confidence on the phone. If you’re looking for a real boost in your career, Jargon Group offer a dynamic environment to do this.

We are looking for someone with:

  • At least 1 year Technology B2B PR experience (preferred)
  • One year Internship would be considered
  • A natural interest in technology
  • First-class writing skills
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to work as part of a tight knit team
  • Creativity and spark
  • An understanding of the media landscape, including digital media
  • Creativity and a proactive manner
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
