With 11 beautiful bedrooms, a country inn-style bar, and stunning gardens, The Jack Russell is the perfect countryside destination to enjoy the finest seasonal cooking, world-class drinks, and a warm, friendly welcome from the team. Dogs are also very welcome to enjoy The Jack Russell experience alongside their owners.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly organised and hands-on Deputy General Manager to support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the business. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can inspire and motivate the team, maintain exceptional operational standards, and ensure the venue continues to deliver first-class guest experiences. You’ll play a key role in managing financial processes, developing staff, and maintaining a high-quality, guest-focused operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily shift management, including opening and closing duties.
  • Manage weekly financial duties: banking, reconciling takings, preparing end-of-week reports.
  • Support with payroll ensuring hours are accurately recorded.
