Your Opportunity:
At Smucker, we view our manufacturing operations as the heart of our efforts to deliver food people and pets love. An ideal candidate for this role:
- Understands and models our Company’s Basic Beliefs and Our Commitment to Each Other.
- Operates, repairs, and maintains gas fired boilers and all auxiliary equipment.
- Provides preventative maintenance, repair, and improvement functions to plant facilities.
- Supports fire system maintenance and repair.
- Operates, repairs and maintains refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoots and maintains hot water systems and water softening equipment.
- Must be proficient in general plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills.
- Engaged in improving utilities efficiencies.
- Completes required training and testing as requested in the areas of safety and GMPs.
Education & Licensure:
- Must hold a current State of Ohio High Pressure or Stationary Engineering Boiler License.
- Must pass appropriate skill assessments including Math and Electrical Aptitude.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
