Essential: A minimum of 2 years\’ experience in management / lead / senior role within health and social care.

About this client: Ivy is 19 years old and is returning home after a fabulous couple of years at a residential college. Although Ivy is returning to her family home, the set-up is very different, and she now has her own self-contained apartment. Her family home has been thoughtfully separated to provide her with her own private space. Ivy will have her own separate entrance, which will allow her greater independence while remaining close to her family.

Ivy has hemiplegic cerebral palsy (left side), a learning disability, is neurodivergent / autistic, sensory processing difficulties and drug-resistant epilepsy. Ivy is mobile and communicates verbally, however, she can experience extreme fatigue, and requires support with her mobility, motor control and self-regulation. She is full of life, has a great sense of humour and loves to engage with others, and participate in activities!

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • A manager with hands-on experience of leading a team, care co-ordination, working alongside stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and organisations. Knowledge and experience of CQC standards and procedures, highly desirable.
  • You will be client focused, highly organised, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Female applicants only, due to genuine occupational requirement under paragraph 1, schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
