Overview
The Interim Executive Board of this nurturing and inclusive school seek to appoint a creative, dynamic and enthusiastic teacher for a maternity cover in Year 6. The successful candidate should have a thorough knowledge of Key Stage 2 outcomes and be an outstanding practitioner who will contribute to maintaining and raising high standards of achievement.
Responsibilities
- teach and support pupils in Key Stage 2 (Year 6) to ensure high standards of achievement
- demonstrate high expectations of pupils\’ work and behaviour
- develop a happy, safe, creative and inclusive classroom
- refer children to, and work with, outside agencies as needed
- participate in assessment procedures
- motivate, inspire, champion and support other staff
- promote partnership between home, school and the wider community, including reporting to parents
Qualifications and Requirements
You must have the care and dedication to ensure that every child reaches their full potential. Please state your interests and curricular strengths. Applicants should have a positive outlook and be able to work effectively within a team. The successful candidate should have:
- experience in Key Stage 2
- proven to be an excellent classroom practitioner
- experience of safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people
