The predicted salary is between 31650 - 43607 £ per year.

Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Communication HLTA to join the Ivy House team. The post holder will take a lead role in supporting and developing communication provision across the school. Working alongside the Communication and Literacy Coordinator, the Communication HLTA will promote and embed effective communication strategies to enable all pupils to access learning and develop functional communication skills. Ivy House School is a special school for pupils aged 2-19.

Responsibilities

The post holder will take a lead role in supporting and developing communication provision across the school. Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting and embedding effective communication strategies to enable all pupils to access learning and develop functional communication skills.
  • Collaborating with the Communication and Literacy Coordinator and other staff to plan and deliver inclusive communication provision.

Qualifications and requirements

Required: DBS check (enhanced) as part of safer recruitment procedures and the ability to disclose relevant criminal history information per policy. Ability to provide a supporting statement on the formal application detailing reasons for applying, skills, and experience.
