This role provides an excellent opportunity to significantly enhance our venue's market presence and secure prestigious corporate and special occasion bookings. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing on-site events for our guests, including receptions, lunches, and dinners. Availability to work evenings and weekends may be required. You will work closely with the on-site operational team to ensure the delivery of high-quality service and to build strong relationships with our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Sales Plans: Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to drive increased bookings and revenue growth for Ivy West Street. This involves analysing market trends, identifying opportunities, and setting actionable goals to attract high-value events and corporate clients.
  • Drive Business Development Initiatives: Actively seek new business opportunities to enhance the venue's profile and secure significant bookings. Focus on building and nurturing relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, and individuals planning special occasions, ensuring Ivy West Street becomes their venue of choice.
  • Represent and Network at Industry Events: Act as the venue's ambassador at key industry events, conferences, and networking functions. Build and strengthen professional relationships, engage with potential clients, and generate new business leads that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Manage and Cultivate Client Relationships: Oversee and develop long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of service. Maintain regular communication, address any concerns, and work proactively to deliver exceptional experiences that foster client loyalty and repeat business.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated success in a Business Development Manager role within the restaurant, entertainment, or hospitality sectors.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop successful business strategies.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Exceptional networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
