We are looking for a highly experienced Group Head Bartender to lead the drinks programme across the portfolio. This role is designed for someone with deep expertise in building and evolving multi-site beverage programmes, with a strong focus on R&D, glassware, training, consistency, and maintaining relevance in today’s bar industry. You will take full ownership of the drinks strategy, ensuring it is both creatively distinctive and commercially strong, while consistently executed across every location. You will be confident in driving innovation while setting clear standards, developing teams, and embedding a culture of precision and accountability. A strong understanding of Asian-inspired flavour profiles, alongside the ability to translate concept into execution at scale, will be key. This is a pivotal role for someone who leads from the front, influences at pace, and understands how to balance creativity with operational excellence to deliver a best-in-class bar experience across The Ivy Asia.

Key Responsibilities:
- Beverage Program Development: Create and maintain a cutting-edge cocktail menu that aligns with The Ivy Asia brand, ensuring consistency and excellence across all locations. Lead, train, and support bar managers and bartenders at The Ivy Asia locations, fostering a culture of creativity and high performance.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all beverages are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and consistency, regardless of location. Continuously research and incorporate the latest trends and techniques in mixology, pushing the boundaries of the cocktail experience. Build and maintain relationships with top-quality suppliers to source the best ingredients and products for our bars.
- Brand Representation: Act as the global ambassador for The Ivy Asia, participating in industry events, competitions, and media appearances to promote our brand and guest takeover shifts.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all bar operations comply with local health and safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Group/Global Head Bartender / Head of Bars or similar leadership role in a global brand.
- Exceptional mixology skills with a strong portfolio of innovative cocktail creations.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities on a global scale.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Deep knowledge of beverage trends, ingredients, and techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for creativity and excellence in the cocktail arts.
- Willingness to travel frequently to oversee UK operations.
