The IVF Guide is hiring for a new IVF Centre located in Hampshire, UK. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Embryologist to join our team at the beginning of this exciting new venture. As a Junior Embryologist, you will play a vital role in the IVF process by assisting senior embryologists with various laboratory tasks, including sperm and egg preparation, embryo culture, and embryo transfer. You will work closely with our team of experienced embryologists and physicians to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within the HFEA regulations at all times
- Assist senior embryologists in all aspects of the IVF process, including sperm and egg preparation, embryo culture, and embryo transfer
- Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment and maintain accurate records
- Follow strict laboratory protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and accuracy of all procedures
- Provide compassionate and supportive care to patients undergoing fertility treatments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
- Previous experience in an embryology laboratory is required
