Our client is recruiting for an Apprentice Cellular Network Field Engineer to join their team in Swadlincote. The Level 4 Cellular Network Field Engineer apprenticeship programme that we are offering will allow you to kick‑start your career in an industry that is constantly evolving, dynamic and transformational. Location: Swadlincote – national travel may be required.

Working Hours: Monday‑Friday 8am-5pm; weekend and out‑of‑hours work may be required depending on project needs. £10.50 per hour

About the Role

Our client is one of the UK’s leading telecommunications rigging companies, working with many of the country’s major Mobile Network Operators. Due to continued growth, they are seeking motivated, reliable individuals to join their team as Apprentice Cellular Network Field Engineers/Riggers. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term career in telecoms with full training provided. As an Apprentice Cellular Network Field Engineer/Rigger, you’ll work as part of an experienced field team delivering projects across the UK. The role is hands‑on, varied, and ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a team on nationwide telecoms projects
  • Assisting with installation and rigging works on telecoms sites

Requirements

  • Hardworking, reliable, and conscientious attitude

  • Previous hands‑on or site‑based experience is an advantage, but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Grade A*-C / 4 or higher in GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)
