Our client is recruiting for an Apprentice IT/AV/CCTV Installation Engineer to join their team in High Wycombe.

The Level 3 Network Cable Installer apprenticeship programme will allow you to kick‑start your career in an industry that is constantly evolving, dynamic and transformational. You will gain valuable first‑hand experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications that will help propel your career forward.

The Position:

  • Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Network Cable Installer
  • Duration: 12 months + assessment
  • Location: High Wycombe
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8 am‑6 pm (45 hours per week). Meet the yard at 7 am to travel with the team to sites.
  • Salary: £16,500

About the position:

We offer a wide range of services that include the installation and maintenance of computer IT, Audio Visual (AV), CCTV and Access Control solutions in a variety of settings, including private business and education. The role is physical, often outdoors and involves heavy lifting. You will deliver high quality installations to our clients, ensuring attention to detail. Enhanced DBS and Security clearance checks will be carried out. You should be able to work independently and in a team, be flexible to changing deadlines, and bring reliability, adaptability, and exceptional interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

  • Own car essential for commuting to base from outside High Wycombe, Bucks, HP14 each day for 7 am
  • Previous IT/AV installation experience desirable but not essential
  • Strong problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
  • Willing to apply for an ECS card (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme)/CSCS card
