Who we are
The Italians is a wine bar and restaurant in London. Italian food, quality wine, two sites, Charlotte Street and Devonshire Street. Small team, high standards, good atmosphere.
The role
You will run the floor day to day and you will also have genuine freedom to shape how we host, that means how we talk about the wine list, how we train the team, your ideas on service. If you love Italian food and wine and want more than just taking orders, this is for you.
Day to day
- Running service and leading the floor across both sites
- Guiding guests through the wine list with real knowledge, not a script
- Training and supporting new front of house staff
- Managing bookings, covers, and pacing during busy periods
- Working closely with the kitchen to keep service smooth
What we need from you
- Experience as a head waiter, supervisor, or senior front of house role
- Strong wine knowledge, especially Italian and natural wines
- Comfortable running a floor on your own
- Organised under pressure, calm with guests
- Right to work in the UK
